TLW-B Specification Characteristics (per approval document UL E236542)
High-voltage resistant, direct-solderable, triple-layer independent insulation. The following are characteristics per the approval document; complete wire gauge specifications are shown in the specification table below.
Conductor + Triple Independent Insulation = Reinforced Insulation
Triple-insulated wire extrudes three independent insulation layers sequentially over the copper conductor, each capable of independently passing insulation testing. When stacked in three layers, it qualifies as a winding wire component at the "Reinforced Insulation" level as defined in annexes such as IEC 62368-1 Annex J and IEC 61558-1 Annex K (actual status per corresponding certification documents), thereby allowing elimination of isolation tape and reduction of creepage distance during winding, resulting in smaller transformers and more streamlined winding processes.

Triple-insulated wire TLW-B
DAH JIN flagship triple-insulated wire (models TLW-B/TLW-BB). Triple independent insulation achieves reinforced insulation grade, eliminating creepage distance restrictions between windings; high-voltage resistant, can be soldered directly (no need to strip outer layer first). Approved by UL E236542, VDE 40008834, temperature rating Class B 130°C, conductor wire diameter 0.10–1.50 mm.
Dual-layer insulated wire
Dual-layer independent insulation winding wire (TLW-B2), belonging to the same approval series as flagship TLW-B; approved by UL E236542/VDE 40008834, specifications 0.10–1.00 mm, can be soldered directly.
Triple-insulated wire – stranded type
Triple-insulated wire (TLW-B7S) composed of 7 enameled wires (conductors) twisted together in concentric circular stranding; belongs to triple-insulated wire series, can be soldered directly, approved by UL E236542/VDE 40008834, suitable for high-frequency power supplies reducing skin effect.
Class F triple-insulated wire
Class F triple-insulated wire (TLW-F): temperature rating Class F 155°C, specifications 0.10–1.00 mm, triple independent insulation achieves reinforced insulation grade, can be soldered directly, eliminating creepage distance restrictions between windings. Same approval series as TLW-B.
