Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
1,000 m (by length). For special conductor sizes or custom packaging, the MOQ is confirmed case by case based on size and quantity — please state your requirements when requesting a quotation.
What is the standard lead time?
2–8 weeks, depending on current shipment volume. Our quotation reply will include a concrete lead-time commitment for the current period. If you have an urgent requirement, note your target date in the RFQ and we will give you an honest assessment of feasibility.
How do I request samples?
Submit the online RFQ form on our website, stating: wire type (or target specification), conductor diameter, estimated annual volume, and application conditions (operating voltage, frequency, temperature rise). Our sales team will reply with the specification sheet and sample arrangements.
What information do you need for a quotation?
At minimum, three items — wire type or conductor specification, quantity, and delivery destination. If you are still in the selection stage, also tell us the application (e.g., charger, medical power supply) and the safety path (62368 / 61558 / 60601), and we can help confirm the right wire type.
Do you provide certification and quality documentation?
Provided as standard: UL certification (file number E236542; the DJ-130 insulation system is E318181), VDE certification (40008834), SGS RoHS test report (per IEC 62321), the product approval document, and the ISO 14001 environmental management system. Customers adopting the DJ-130 insulation system require an Authorization Letter issued by DAH JIN. The UL certifications can be verified free of charge in the official UL database (step-by-step instructions on the Certifications page of this site).
Where is the wire manufactured?
Made in Taiwan — at our Tainan plant (the manufacturing site stated on the supplement to VDE certificate 40008834); for the UL E236542 factory Follow-Up Service, the UL documents govern. For customers with supply-chain origin requirements, we can provide supporting origin documentation.
Payment and quotation currency?
B2B pricing is quoted per specification; we do not publish a standard price list. Currency and payment terms are confirmed with sales at the quotation stage.
Packaging and shipping?
Standard spool packaging; packaging format and length per spool vary by conductor size and are stated in the quotation. Export packaging and shipping marks can be arranged per customer requirements.
How are quality issues handled?
Traceability by lot number. Keep the spool label and contact your sales representative; we handle the case through the corrective-action process of our ISO 9001 quality management system.
